Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and whoever operates Fragroom (see the imprint). Using the service means you accept them. If you do not, do not use it.

Who can use Fragroom

You must be 16 or older. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up and we check it. There is no version of Fragroom for people under that age.

One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens on yours, so do not share your password and do not let somebody else use it.

What you post

Your posts stay yours. We do not claim to own them. By posting, you give us permission to store your content and show it to the people you posted it to — which is what a social network has to do to be one. Delete a post and that permission ends with it.

Post only what you have the right to post.

What is not allowed

Do not use Fragroom to:

• Harass, threaten or target anybody, including doxxing — posting somebody’s private information.
• Post sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualises them. This one gets reported to the authorities, not just removed.
• Post content that promotes violence or hatred against people.
• Impersonate somebody else.
• Share cheats, exploits, account sales or anything else that breaks the rules of the games people here play.
• Break the service on purpose — scraping it, flooding it, probing it, or trying to reach data that is not yours.
• Advertise, or run bots or automated accounts.

What happens if you break them

We can remove content and we can close accounts. For anything serious we will do it without warning. Where it is a judgement call we will tell you why, and you can reply.

Fragroom is small and new. Moderation is a person reading reports, not a system that catches everything — so if you see something wrong, reporting it genuinely is how it gets found.

What we do not promise

Fragroom is provided as it is. It is early software: it will have bugs, it will go down, and features will change or disappear. We do not promise it will always be available, and we do not promise it will never lose data — though we will try hard on both.

Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer under the law where you live, and nothing here excludes our liability for death, personal injury, or anything done deliberately or through gross negligence.

Ending it

You can delete your account whenever you want. We can close yours if you break these terms, or if we stop running Fragroom — in which case we will give you notice and a way to take your things with you.

Changes

These terms will change as Fragroom grows — posts, Fragrooms and messages each need rules of their own that are not here yet. When they change in a way that matters we will say so, not just move the date at the top.
