About Fragroom

Fragroom is where you post the thing that just happened in the match — the screenshot, the clip, the run that went wrong in an interesting way — and find the people worth playing with next time.

Every post is attached to a game, because “what are you playing” is the question that actually starts things. You can run a Fragroom with its own feed and its own chat, message your buddies, and put your Steam library on your profile so people can see what you actually put hours into.

What is here today

• Sign in with an email and password, or with Discord, Twitch, Steam, Epic Games or Google.
• Set up a profile: a gamer tag, a picture, a country, the games you play and the hours you play them.
• Post a screenshot, tagged with the game you were playing. React to one, comment, reply, or hide your own.
• Open a game’s page and see everything posted about it, who plays it, how many people are on it right now, and who is streaming.
• Run a Fragroom: public or private, with its own rules, its own members, its own feed, and Discord-style chat channels inside it. Private ones are joined by asking, and the founder approving.
• Add buddies and message them — pictures, GIFs, animated emoji, replies and reactions, arriving live.
• Search for people, Fragrooms and games. Get notified when something happens.
• Fill in a Gaming Buddy Match preference — games, platform, region, playstyle, voice chat, the hours you are on — and get a list of people who fit.
• Follow streamers on Twitch and YouTube. A buddy who goes live is marked as live; a streamer you pin rings your bell when they start.

Who publishes Fragroom

Fragroom is built and operated by Sajal Jahan, an independent developer, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game publisher or platform. Contact: sajaljahan@gmail.com. The full details are in the imprint.

Some things that will not change

• No ads in the feed. Sponsorship, if it ever happens, stays on the home page and is labelled as what it is.
• We do not sell your data. There is no advertising business here to sell it to.
• 16 and over. Checked at sign-up, not asserted with a tick box.
• No livestreaming. Twitch and YouTube already do that well; a live post here is a link to yours.
